The Spectral:ON has a lightweight carbon frame with playful geometry for unlimited fun on the trails. This bike offers a great deal of confidence for downhill riding, equipped with either a 720 or 900 Wh battery, you can say goodbye to range anxiety when riding uphill. With extended travel, now 160 mm in front, the steering angle turns out even shallower, and the additional stability means it’s a silky-smooth ride.
All Spectral:ON models are powered by our EP8 (EP801) motor, peaking at 600 watts without compromising handling or maneuverability. With natural and gentle support at a rotational force of up to 85 Nm and seamless connection to the Canyon app for GPS tracking and theft protection. The two CF models are fitted with reliable SLX and DEORE drivetrains.
FREESHIFT
The Spectral:ON CFR has an EP8 drive unit that interacts perfectly with DEORE XT Di2 and our award-winning intelligent shifting technology: FREE SHIFT.
FREE SHIFT allows you to shift gears without pedaling. With 12-speed DEORE XT Di2 drivetrains, you can even use FREE SHIFT in Automatic mode. Automatic mode uses your speed and app settings to shift gears while coasting so you can resume pedaling in the right gear. Even when set to Automatic, you can still shift manually at any moment to prepare for upcoming trail changes.
