REVO: THE UPCYCLED SHORTS, MADE TO SHRED

We believe that cycling in itself is already a positive contribution to a sustainable way of life, but these times ask for more than just caring, these times ask for action. Every day we look at how we can create a more sustainable, positive impact. So for the updated REVO MTB shorts we collaborated [with Airpaq] to upcycle airbag materials and waste from the automotive industry.

Why airbag and car materials? well they are quite sturdy of course and the materials we chose to use remain very strong even after being discarded. They offer a water repellent, very resistant and durable material that we use to reinforce our comfortable REVO shorts. Perfect for shorts that have to take a beating in the urban jungle or out on the trails.

The REVO comes in a specific men’s and women’s version and features a mix of different recycled (woven) materials that are developed for specific areas of these shorts. Some are made to be more flexible, others are selected because they’re as tough as can be. It adds up to a smart pair of shorts made out of two layers, a smooth and flexible inner and a durable outer layer. You’ll find zipped, waterproof pockets, a top notch Tornante chamois and adjustable waist band. All in all the REVO is a great way of protecting our playground by reusing materials that still have a lot of life left in them.
