During the UCI MTB World Series, the peaceful Alpine community of Les Gets evolves into a feast of all-out MTB magic. In the lead-up and during the event, we’re meeting up with the Orbea Factory XC Team as they prepare to take on the ultimate challenge in cross-country racing.

The Orbea Factory XC Team understands that great food is the perfect reward for all the hard work and dedication put in by every crew member involved. And as the UCI MTB World Series XCO gets underway, we are treated to a unique insight into the team’s carefully orchestrated mix of training sessions, supermarket pit-stops and kick-ass cookouts by legend Team Chef Jean-Yves.

France’s Haute-Savoie department of the Alps is famous for its hidden trails and classic snowy-peaked scenery. Amid heavy preparations and strategic sessions concerning the coming stages, the riders find the time to sneak in a joyride or two along the tall grass and evergreen hills while Jean-Yves gets dinner underway.
