During the UCI MTB World Series, the peaceful Alpine community of Les Gets evolves into a feast of all-out MTB magic. In the lead-up and during the event, we’re meeting up with the Orbea Factory XC Team as they prepare to take on the ultimate challenge in cross-country racing.

And as the UCI MTB World Series XCO gets underway, we are treated to a unique insight into the team’s carefully orchestrated mix of training sessions, supermarket pit-stops and kick-ass cookouts by legend Team Chef Jean-Yves.
France’s Haute-Savoie department of the Alps is famous for its hidden trails and classic snowy-peaked scenery. Amid heavy preparations and strategic sessions concerning the coming stages, the riders find the time to sneak in a joyride or two along the tall grass and evergreen hills while Jean-Yves gets dinner underway.
