Husqvarna has a rich history, an innovative present, and an exciting future. So too do Guido Tschugg, Alexandre Fayolle and Simon Carlsson, each with their own story that weaves into the narrative of the Swedish brand on which they completed the 2022 season.

In this short film – Back to the Roots – Alex and Guido road-trip to Sweden to meet Simon and discover Husqvarna’s heritage and shred some prime Swedish soil on their Mountain Cross MC6 machines.

Starting in the South of France, we learn about Alex’s early start with motocross bikes and mountain bikes, his rise to the top of World Cup downhill racing, the consequent fall and how e-bikes reignited his love affair with two wheels.

Next stop is Germany to hook up with mountain bike mainstay, Guido Tschugg. The Red Bull Rampage participant and 4X World Cup winner has been at the forefront of MTB in almost all its guises from the very beginning, and e-MTB is no exception. Husqvarna is often associated with gardening and motocross, and Guido encompasses it all with some serious backyard dirt jump building!

The final stop of the trip is of course Sweden: home of flatpack furniture, meatballs, the Husqvarna Museum and Simon Carlsson. A young Swede with a bright future in the fast-paced world of e-MTB racing, Simon connects his nationality, his family and his sport together.
